About the Author

Sheila Walker-Carroll is an Amazon Best-Selling Author of the LGBTQ Novel, Goodnight Sweetheart, a screenwriter, and an award-winning film director.

 She is also a wife, mother of two adult children, grandmother to a granddaughter, dog, goat, rabbit, and two active puppies.

Sheila loves to tell a good story, whether it be through writing or her favorite persona, Grammy Gab. Most of her stories are fiction, but if a reader looks closely between the lines, truths can be found.

When asked what she hopes to accomplish through her writing, she said she hopes to accomplish four things: to entertain, educate, inspire and make a difference.

 Writing is a solitary act, but as writers/authors, we crave feedback; we want company, validation, and we want to feel like we’re not alone in our compulsions, routines, superstitions, eccentricities, confusions, and wonders. 

To date, I've lived an interesting journey, as you will find in some of my upcoming novels. I've been healed and flourished through a terminal cancer diagnosis, went from being a 9th-grade high school drop-out to graduating with two Masters and being inducted into the Chi Sigma Iota Honor Society. 

My favorite genre is mystery and children's horror. My love of both genre's was inspired by my many childhood adventures with my cousins.
