Buried secrets

 Vanished without a trace!  

Rebecca is a 12-year-old girl who believes her life would be perfect if her mother would return home.
 
Following a long night of serious discussion between Rebecca and her mother about the mother's pending divorce from her step-father, Rebecca was dropped off at home, while  
her mother ran to the corner store a few blocks away to pick up a pack of cigarettes.

Rebecca was exhausted and went to bed. As soon as she woke up the next morning, she discovered that her mother had not yet returned home. Suddenly, her heart raced and her head whirled.

As she became increasingly concerned, she walked to her aunt's house a few blocks away.

Days passed and still no sign of Janie. It was very clear to Rebecca that something was wrong, as her mother had never left her alone.

What happened to Janie Lamb? It is quite obvious that someone has information, but won't disclose it, or perhaps they have revealed it..... 32 years later.
